Remembering 911
Since September 11, 2001, our country has seen a great deal of change. In an instant, our lives changed forever - our sense of security threatened; our innocence lost; our numbers smaller - but we are stronger.
The American spirit lives on.
America has responded to the devastation of September 11th 2001 in incredible ways. Our country has united in a bond too strong to be broken. We have found our true heroes - the men and women who risk their lives to serve and protect us - and we take the time to recognize and appreciate their efforts and sacrifices. Only now do we fully understand the value and cost of our freedom.
Americans have returned to our way of life with a steely determination; while never forgetting the lessons that 9/11 has taught us. We have returned to work and school; while never taking a moment with our loved ones for granted. As we spend time with our families, children and friends on this day, our thoughts return again to those who lost loved ones on that fateful day. We can never fully express our truest feelings for the sacrifices made that day.
We can only remember.
We will never forget September 11th 2001.
