Visual Clarity Server
The Visual Clarity Server is the engine behind VisuaLinks. It manages all connections and access to all data sources. The Visual Clarity Server sits between your users and your data sources, managing all requests for data submitted by users.
The Visual Clarity Server supports Clustering for fail-over in any environment and load balancing in large deployments.
VisuaLinks Modeler
The VisuaLinks Modeler creates the mapping of your data sources that enables the visual analysis performed using the VisuaLinks Client. The VisuaLinks Modeler helps individuals create a single, consistent view of the data to be analyzed.
VisuaLinks Client
The VisuaLinks Client is the end-user interface. This is where analysis is performed. The VisuaLinks Client is built specifically to render data in a visual format - showing analysts the information in their data.
The VisuaLinks Client can be accessed in a couple of different ways - as a locally installed application launched directly from a single machine or as a Web application launched from a Web browser. Either way, the VisuaLinks Client provides analysts with a vast toolkit for extracting data and performing analysis.

Security
The Department of Defense (DoD) Intelligence Information System (DoDIIS) Independent Test Authority (ITA) certified the VisuaLinks software for Protection Level 3 (PL3). Protection levels are internal certifications of information systems by agencies operating throughout the Intelligence Community (IC) and Common Criteria (CC) is used as the basis for evaluation of security properties of IT products and systems.
VisuaLinks has been tested and evaluated for its effectiveness related to integration, interoperability and security processes, procedures, and mechanisms used to satisfy Director of Central Intelligence Directive DCID 6/3 requirements for protecting information within information systems. The certification allows the software to operate under DoDIIS, which is managed by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).
