VAI's Collegiate Outreach Program Continues to Grow with the Addition of Ole Miss



August 14, 2009 - Frederick, MD - The University of Mississippi, otherwise known as Ole Miss, is participating in the Visual Analytics Inc. (VAI) Collegiate Outreach Program, a program designed to teach analytical skills and critical thinking to students in various career fields, including but not limited to, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Computer Science, Intelligence Analysis, Information Technology and Homeland Security.

The Collegiate Outreach Program permits University of Mississippi the use of VAI's software for instructional classroom purposes for the 2009-2010 academic year. The two products that The University will be using to teach future police officials, military officers, and intelligence analysts are VisuaLinks® - the premier pattern discovery and visualization tool - and Data Information Gateway (DIG)® - the industry's best solution for secure, federated search and information sharing. The software will be used within the University of Mississippi School of Applied Sciences department under the Center for Intelligence and Security Studies track.
