How do I know which program is right for my business?
You should determine if you want to resell or recommend VAI software licenses to your customers (VAR or Sales Partner) or if you want to embed VAI technology into your application or integrate your software into VAI solutions (Technology Partner).

I want to resell, and/or recommend VisuaLinks. Which program do I look at?
If you want to resell or recommend VAI products, you should become either a VAR or Sales Partner. A VAR will have the staff to sell, train, install and support the products with a minimum of assistance from VAI. A Sales Partner prefers to receive a commission from the sales of VAI products, but does not want to "own" the customer.

I want to integrate my software solution with VAI products?
If you want to integrate your software solution with VAI products, consider the Technology Partner program. Technology partners create standard integration solutions to connect their applications to VAI products. The business development team works closely with each partner in the design and implementation of the integration.

I want to embed VAI technology in my application?
This is either a VAR or Technology Partner relationship, depending on whether or not you want to resell the integrated solution.

What are the requirements to join the program?
Requirements are dependent on the program option you join. Most options require purchase of training for technical staff on VAI products and engaging in joint marketing activities. The VAR program requires that you provide training, services and first and second line support to your customers.

Are there discounts for partners on VAI training?
Yes, all partners receive a discount on classroom courses.

Is there a cost for software?
Eval/demo software is included as part of the Partner programs.

Are VAI salespeople available for assistance on prospective projects?
Yes – VAI has both channel and direct sales reps. Compensation programs are structured to remove channel conflict to best support joint accounts.
