Value Added Data
As part of Data Clarity® tools and services, Visual Analytics now offer clients the ability to access and search value-added data sources. Currently, our data sources include:
The Social Security Death Index (SSDI)
Visual Analytics clients can now connect to and search the Social Security Administration’s Social Security Death Index (SSDI) as generated by the administration’s Death Master File.
The SSDI contains over 90,000,000 records with basic information about anyone with a Social Security number whose death has been reported to the Social Security Administration. This is a critical tool for verifying the validity of Social Security Numbers.
VAI now hosts the SSDI and allows any client with VisuaLinks or DIG to access and search it.
The OFAC SDNs List
Visual Analytics clients can now connect to and search the Specially Designated Nationals (SDNs) and Blocked Persons list provided by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) at the U.S. Department of Treasury.
The SDNs and Blocked Persons list is an invaluable tool for supporting the Patriot Act sections 312 (Special Due Diligence for Correspondent Accounts and Private Banking Accounts) and 314 (Cooperative Efforts to Deter Money Laundering). Any organization involved in monetary transactions must be able to monitor transactions and money flows within their business for terrorist financing.
In an effort to support our clients’ compliance with this mandatory monitoring, VAI now hosts the SDNs and Blocked Persons list and allows any client with VisuaLinks or Digital Information Gateway (DIG®) to access and search it.
