The VisuaLinks Disambiguator is a powerful data cleansing and conversion tool.
Virtually any database system is subject to data variations due to data entry errors, misinterpreted or missing data, format inconsistencies or even the deliberate entry of improper data.
The Disambiguator is designed specifically to compensate for inconsistent, incomplete and erroneous data values. The Disambiguator currently offers over 100 built-in data cleansing and transformation functions and supports custom-scripted operations.
Pre-defined transformations range from simple cleansing functions such as:
- Trim Spaces
- Convert to Uppercase
- Remove/Replace Characters
To more complex transformations such as:
- Convert Area Code to State
- Validate/Parse E-mail Addresses
