 VisuaLinks® Geographic Maps
The VisuaLinks Mapping services plot geographic data on graphical maps and allow you to initiate a geographic search from a point, region or route selected on a graphical map.
VisuaLinks has integrated two third-party mapping capabilities:
Google™
VisuaLinks' Google integration lets you display your data on Google Maps or send the data to your Google Earth application. The Google Maps service also lets you choose a point, area or route in the map to start a search for geographic data.
ESRI®
VisuaLinks' integration with ESRI capabilities includes ESRI Map, ESRI Globe, ESRI ArcGIS Web, and ESRI ArcView. With these services enabled, you can display your data on ESRI maps, in the ESRI Globe service, or using the ESRI ArcGIS Web online services. You can also send data directly users of ESRI ArcView products.
In addition, the Disambiguator® lets users convert locality-related information, such as ZIP codes, into latitude and longitude coordinates that can be displayed on these maps.
