The VisuaLinks Alerts service is a monitoring and notification system that automatically notifies
defined users when a particular event occurs. Alerts is fully configurable allowing users to define the
events that trigger notification. Alerts sends notices, through push technology, to alert individuals of
data changes.
Alerts can be set up to notify specific users whenever new information is entered into a database,
a specific type of data is modified, or a scheduled service returns results.
With its ability to monitor real-time data changes and automatically notify individual users,
implementation of the Alerts feature can be a critical tool in achieving a successful analysis or investigation.
Alerts Example
You set up a rule to receive notification when new data is entered into your database. Alerts monitors the
database and sends you a notice when new information is available.
A user sets up a rule to immediately notify all investigation group members and field personnel when specific
information is changed in your database. Alerts routinely monitors the information and notifies everyone on the
team when the information has been modified.
