VisuaLinks Standard Training -- Course Description
The VisuaLinks Standard Training course is a 1-day class, designed around the VisuaLinks Standard edition,
that introduces analytical methodologies and provides a thorough overview of the fundamental
services within VisuaLinks.
This course is designed to provide students with:
 An understanding of link analysis concepts
An overview of link analysis methods
An overview of the advantages of VisuaLinks
An introduction to the VisuaLinks interface
Instructor-led, hands-on exercises:
- Finding data using the Query service
- Refining searches using Search Operators
- Finding related data using the Database Walk service
- Analyzing the data using Placement Settings
- Reviewing and sorting data details
- Adjusting the data display manually
- Adding annotations to the data display
- Saving work to a Session file for later use
This course also includes a series of exercises that apply the techniques taught throughout the course.
This course must be completed prior to attending the VisuaLinks Professional User Training.
